　　这是一个发生在泰国北部的真实故事。被送至缅甸学习的兰纳王室王子Sukkasem在市场邂逅了烟草小贩的女儿Mamia，一见钟情并双双许下了不离不弃、至死不渝的誓言。不久父母来信让他学业结束后回家。王子把Mamia装扮成男仆掩人耳目带回了家里。逐被仆人发现告知了王子的父母，Sukkasem不得不向父母坦承很爱Mamia，视她如妻。遭到了不得与缅甸人通婚的反对，别无选择的Sukkasem只得把Mamia送回了缅甸。苦等下的Mamia在听闻王子另娶的消息后，选择了出家为尼，收回了不离不弃的誓言，从此长伴青灯孤独终老。而被祝福一生平安发达。违背至死不渝誓言的Sukkasem王子又是怎样的结局呢？

Mamia剧情介绍: 

　　This is a true story taken in up north Thailand. Jao-noy was the son of a royal family and he had to go to Burma to study. When he got there he saw Mamia, Mamia who was the daughter of a merchant that works at the market selling tobacco products. Jao-noy first saw Mamia at the market and it was love at first sight for both of them. Not so long they begin to have sexual relationships. Days later Jao-noy received a letter from his parents saying that when he finished school he must come home at once. He didn't want to leave Mamia behind so he took her with him and Mamia dressed as a servant boy in order for no one to know.when she was about to leave). When he got back home he was ordered to marry this one lady and he had to but his heart was with Mamia at all times and he missed her alot!....but he did as he was told. Mamia thought that Jao-noy will never come back again so she became a monk. One day Jao-noy had to go back to Burma. When he got there he asked his servant to go tell Mamia that he has Arrived....but Mamia said that there love is finished. But she did go see him for the last time to go take back her words that they promised each other at the temple "that they'll love each other forever and if one of them ever breaks there love apart will die"....and she lift behind a ring that Jao-noy gave her when they were still in love and wished him to live a very long life and she lift. Later when he heard what she had said he got very depressed, so he ate something and died.....Mamia is still a monk till this very day.
